At Union Bank and Trust Company, employee access to personal customer information is limited to those with a business reason to know such information.  Employees are educated on the importance of maintaining the confidentiality of customer information.  All employees are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of customer information and employees that violate this policy will be subject to disciplinary measures.

We are committed to the security of your financial and personal information.  All of our operational and data processing systems are in a secure environment that protects your account information from being accessed by third parties.  We maintain and grant access to customer information only in accordance with our internal security standards.

It is Union Bank’s policy not to reveal specific, non-public information about customer accounts or other personal data to unaffiliated third parties unless:  1)  you request or authorize it;  2)  the information is provided to help complete a transaction initiated by you;  3)  the information is provided to our data processor or a reputable credit bureau or similar informational reporting agency;  4)  the disclosure otherwise is lawfully permitted or required.  We do not and will not provide account or personal information to companies for the purpose of independent telemarketing or direct mail marketing other than our own products.

When Union Bank and Trust Company conducts business with third parties, it requires its vendors and suppliers to maintain similar standards of conduct regarding privacy.
